The workshop is designed to explore the beauty of America’s 19th Century Spencerian script. In this workshop, students will be introduced to the foundations of Spencerian writing; movement, curvature, variability and contrast. We will be explaining the fundamentals of paper position, posture, muscular movement, the oblique penholder, ink, pen points and paper.
Following will be the lowercase & capital letters, capital stem, cross-drill exercises and movement exercises.
No prior experience necessary.

Jessy (@jescreates) started her adventures in calligraphy art sin2016. Her passion and enthusiasm for the unique and beautiful calligraphy art especially Spencerian script is love at first sight since a couple of years ago. Since then she has never looked back and constantly curious about this beautiful form of writing. There is something about this rare yet elegant form of art that she always find it unique, elegant and beautiful. She is currently taking her Master Penman certification with Ink Academy under the mentor ship of Master Penman Michael Sull.
